This delicate wildflower brings a burst of sunshine to Israel’s rocky landscapes. Its bright yellow petals & vivid cluster of stamens make it a favourite for pollinators; look closely & you might spot bees at work, like in this photo. 🐝✨

This hardy plant thrives in dry, rocky soils, perfectly adapted to Israel’s Mediterranean climate. You’ll often find it scattered across the Galilee & Carmel, the Judean Hills, & even parts of the Negev, brightening the terrain with its vibrant colour.

In supporting pollinators, the Yellow Rockrose plays an important role in the ecosystem.
